Baked Butternut Squash

Method : baking

Yield : 8 125-g serving

● Butternut Squash. 450gr. 1 lb.
● Yam or sweet potato. 450gr. 1 lb.
● Cinnamon. 0.50 gr ½tsp.
● Cardamom (ground). 0.30 gr. ⅙tsp.
● Brown sugar. 45 gr. 2 tbsp
● Lemon juice 60 mL. 2 tbsp
● Whole butter, melted 100 Gr. 4 Oz.

 

1. Wash and cut yam and squash in to medium dice
2. Pre heat over to 180° C (350° f)
3. Place the yam and squash in buttered pan. Season with salt and pepper, cinnamon,
cardamom , and brown sugar
4. Drizzle the lemon juice and butter over the too of the squash.
5. Baked uncovered, in 180° C (350° f).
